I’m beginning to offer stage/dialect lessons online or in person specializing in voice and dialect work, American audition techniques, and building overall stage presence.
If you’re a non-native English speaker looking to break into the English-speaking sphere, I have experience as a TEFL instructor and linguist. I’ve helped students not only reduce their accent but learn to speak with clarity and specificity, increasing their likeness to a native speaker.
I’ve been trained in multiple acting methods across my 15 years experience in the theatre, including (my favorites) Meisner and Alba Emoting. I also have experience in physical methods, devised work, playwrighting, and directing. As a wind-musician, I also offer my students a variety of breathe work techniques and exercises to ensure you’re using your body and your voice to its fullest potential.

In this Audition Technique Workshop, we’ll take a look at the material you’re currently working with before diving into your type/essence as a performer and if that material is really reflecting that back out. We’ll talk slates, chunking, cold reads, and choosing future material while reading the room in order to put your best foot forward as you step into your next audition.

The acting/entertainment industry is forever changing and dynamic – and especially if you’re a non native speaker in a foreign country! These sessions are based off a “Business of Acting” class I took at my university where we cover everything from your type and material to organzing reels, resumés, websites; how are you finding or looking for work; and what your brand is as an actor.
Often we forget that this is a job and it is a business, and unless you have an agent or manager, it can feel very overwhelming as to where you should even start!
So let’s sit down and talk through your goals and aspirations and how you can begin working toward achieving them.

If there’s a specific work that you’re preparing for and want one more glance over it before opening or you feel lost with nowhere to start, this is the workshop for you!
I’ll need the full material in advance with an outline of what you’re looking for and what you want to work on – maybe you have notes from the director, bring those too! We’ll deep dive into the character and material along with the mechanical aspects like breath work, analysis, and diction.
- Regular Sessions…30€-35€ per session
Weekly sessions are great for those actively and regularly performing! Keep your instrument warm and stretched – not to mention exercising these muscles regularly is the best way to build new, healthy habits in your voice and body.
